My friend Tabby and her husband Clyde came into town on Sunday for a short visit. It was so good to see Tabby - it has been nearly 10 years. MUCH, much too long!

Yesterday, we spent some time together leisurely walking through Port Gamble.

It was a perfect day with blue skies, light breezes and warm sunshine.

Tabby and I walked around with our camera snapping photos. Port Gamble was incredibly photogenic. With every click, she showed off for us.

Perfect days in the Northwest are rare and to be thoroughly enjoyed. Glad you had one! Port Gamble is a charming little community, so charming it almost seems like it’s not for real.

Aw, come on, Karen - we have lots of perfect days!
Port Gamble is so maintained now that, even though it has a community living there, stores and shops and all - it does strike one as a bit… manufactured. It’s owned by a single company and they keep it up meticulously. I know a lot of the shop owners/managers and get my mail there - so the human connection has made it more real to me.

Great pictures! We stopped in Port Gamble too when we were up in the area. Saw the same things you did! Love the church photo.

Hey Janece!
We had a lovely, lovely time with you all. I wish it could have been longer, but maybe another time.
